Where's the Fox? is a free logic-puzzle game developed and operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when you play the web version at wheresthefox.com.

What we collect: nothing on our servers

The web version requires no account, no registration, and no personal information. Your game progress, settings, and preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not operate a game server, and we do not receive, store, or back up your gameplay data. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will erase your progress permanently.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people play the game and which screens are used (for example, visits, session length, and puzzle start/finish events). Google Analytics uses cookies and assigns a pseudonymous client ID; it does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies. Data collected through Google Analytics is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Advertising

The game is free and may be supported by advertising. If ads are enabled, they may be served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies (for example, the DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including children.
